Update Instructions

Taken from the manual linked above...

• Insert USB drive into white USB port
• Enter BIOS setup program
  • Enter Advanced Mode
  • Go to Tool Menu
  • Select ASUS EZ Flash Utility
  • Tab to the Drive field
  • Use arrow keys to find the USB drive with BIOS, hit ENTER
  • Tab into Folder Info field
  • Use arrow keys to find the BIOS file, hit ENTER
    • NOTE: if running old BIOS (<=1203) the tool won't accept this CAP BIOS image
    • You must convert current ROM BIOS to CAP BIOS before proceeding
    • No damage will be done, the utility simply won't allow you to use CAP BIOS image
    • Stop here, we'll get the required tools and do it together
  • Wait for update to finish, then reboot
• DO NOT power off until flash is finished

Recovery Instructions

If you lose power during the flash, or otherwise have a corrupted BIOS...

• Insert USB drive into white USB port
• After failing to boot BIOS the system should automatically search drives for BIOS file and start Flash Utility
• Enter BIOS. It's recommended to clear BIOS settings to default by pressing F5, then reconfigure.
