COMiX Slim Edge Adapter - etxmato/COMiX-HighSpeedDirectConnect GitHub Wiki

Similar to the COMiX Edge Adapter except designed for less overhang of the board itself as well as less overhang of the 6 pin header. The two slots to the right comprise a handy finger pull.

Uses a cable with a CH340 or FT232 USB/ IC. The CH340 will be used in a lot of the adapter cables terminating in a 6 pin header. It is less expensive than an FT232, works well, and is not cloned as the FT232 is, so for those reasons it is recommended.

Below is a photo of our COMiX-35 computer under test, using the COMiX Edge Adapter card to connect to a host Windows computer using the Teraterm terminal program.

Full design files for the PCB as pictured are available on our GitHub repository, here: COMiX Slim Edge Adapter

Boards made up may be made available for purchase in the US. If and when that happens, it will be posted here in the Wiki.
