Basic Abilities

All characters have access to the following abilities in addition to the ones they choose during character creation or level-up.

Actions

Basic Attack

Type: Action (Physical Attack, Ranged)
Range: 3
Target: One enemy
Effect: Roll an attack using your highest Combat Art modifier
Success: Deal 2 Fatigue

Dash

Type: Action
Effect: Move a number of spaces up to your speed

Recover

Type: Action
Target: Self
Effect: Reduce current Fatigue or Stress by 1 or end one Status

Resuscitate

Type: Action
Range: 1
Target: One ally who is Incapacitated
Effect: The target is no longer Incapacitated, their Fatigue and Stress are halved (round down), and they clear any negative statuses

Stances

Brace

Type: Stance
Effect: Gain +1 Boon on Resilience rolls

Dodge

Type: Stance
Effect: Gain +1 Boon on Evasion rolls

Concentrate

Type: Stance
Effect: Gain +1 Boon on Resolve rolls

Assist

Type: Stance
Range: 1
Trigger: An ally targets an enemy within range
Effect: You may impose +1 Bane on the enemy's defensive roll. If you do, end this stance.

Protect

Type: Stance
Range: 1
Trigger: An ally within range is targeted by an enemy
Effect: You may grant the ally +1 Boon on their defensive roll. If you do, end this stance.
