Blood is one of the Subclasses of Death Knight that focuses on spending Blood Runes to sustain itself with healing and shielding while dealing
Force damage to enemies.

This subclass obtains all the features from its base class, Death Knight, in addition to its unique features outlined below.

While you have temporary hit points, all
Bludgeoning,
Piercing and
Slashing damage you take is reduced by your Proficiency Bonus.%!(EXTRA string=1)
This bonus increases to 2 at Level 8 and to 3 at Level 12.

Whenever you kill an enemy, your next Death Strike does not consume a Blood Rune.

Dark Succor also makes your next
Death and Decay consume no Runes, or your next
Death and Decay Recast consume no resources.

You gain power that rivals even that of the Lich that turned you. Choose one of the following Passive Features.

When attacking with a Runeforged weapon, you deal an additional 1d8
Force damage.

While you have temporary hit points, you can cast Rune spells as a Bonus Action.
