Setup Ubuntu Desktop base system

Download image

Download the latest image for the desktop version of Ubuntu from the official website:

https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop

Upload the image to the Proxmox Cluster

Create a VM based on this image

Name the VM OpenIot

Select the image uploaded above

No changes needed here

Create the system disk (100GB)

1 CPU with 4 cores

4 GB Memory balooning to 16GB

Add primary network. The DMZ adapter will be added later

vmbr103 is the 103 VLAN in my network

Confirm

Add Network Adapter for DMZ

Make sure the VM is started if the Cluster comes up
