On receive of first object of a Series, only one of the following 4 code flows (see left to right) is executed :

• Protect Individual Studies from getting Expired
• Freeze Series of an already FROZEN Study
• Freeze Expiration Date Individual Studies
• Expire Studies and/or Individual Series

Configure one or more Study Retention Policy based on one's requirements.

• storescu simulating the external object source (e.g. modality) STORESCU, from which objects are being received.

• Store a study to archive whose objects have slice thickness as 0.75 (as shown above in configuration)

      storescu -c <AET>@<host>:<port>  /<path_to_study>
  

• Using the archive UI, see the Study Expiration Date set in the private attributes as shown below :

• Similarly verify also on Series level.
