🔀 Source Select Card (source_select)

A compact dropdown to change the source of a media player: HDMI inputs of a TV or amplifier, apps, Spotify on a speaker… Tap it, pick a source, done.

For an input_select or select entity, use the Select card instead.

✨ Features & Possibilities

• One slim row: an optional icon (since 1.2.9), the name in small, the current source below, a ▾ arrow.
• Tap it: the menu lists the player's sources, the current one in the accent colour. Picking one calls media_player.select_source right away.
• The list is the player's own live source_list.
• Player off? Many TVs (Android TV, for one) only publish their sources while on. The card then says so instead of opening an empty menu.

💡 Want the sources as big buttons instead of a menu? Use a Button grid with media_player.select_source and "data": { "source": "HDMI 1" }.
