📋 Select Card (`select`)

Pick an option of an input_select.* or select.* entity: a video output, a scene mode, a sound profile… Adapted from Home Assistant's Mushroom select card.

Choosing the input of a media player (HDMI 1, TV, Spotify…)? That's the Source select card: a media player keeps its sources in another place, so this card can't read them.

✨ Features & Possibilities

An icon in a coloured circle, the name, the current option, and a menu listing every option of the entity.
Picking an option calls input_select.select_option or select.select_option, whichever fits the entity. Picking the current one does nothing.
The list is read live from the entity: add an option in Home Assistant and it appears on the remote.
Four layouts:
- default: icon + name/state, the menu full-width below (Mushroom's look);
- horizontal: everything on one row, the menu on the right;
- vertical: icon, name, state and menu centred and stacked, for a narrow column of a Row;
- dropdown (since 1.2.9): just the menu, full width, no icon or name. Compact, for a list of choices.
Text size of the current option and of the menu (since 1.2.9).
Icon colour of your choice. The rest follows your dashboard theme (since 1.2.9).

⚙️ Options Reference

`icon_color`	string	theme	Icon colour, e.g. `#6EA8FE`. Its background circle uses the same colour, faded. Not used by `dropdown`.

💡 An input_select plus a select card is the easy way to let the remote drive a choice your automations act on, e.g. the "room picker" in Several remotes.
