→ - in Study, Games and Exercises views, activates the next move
← - in Study, Games and Exercises views, activates the previous move
↑ - in Study, Games and Exercises views, when the cursor is on the move where a variation splits, activates the previous branch variation;
in Chapters View activates the previous chapter, game or exercise
↓ - in Study, Games and Exercises views, when the cursor is on the move where a variation splits, activates the next branch variation;
in Chapters View activates the next chapter, game or exercise
Home - in Study, Games and Exercises views, activates the starting position
End - in Study, Games and Exercises views activates the ending position of the current line
Shift + ↑ - in Study, Games and Exercises views, activates the first move of the current line
Shift + ↓ - in Study, Games and Exercises views, activates the last move of the current line
F2 - enables or disables the engine (same as using the Engine toggle button)
F3 - runs the Find Identical Positions function, which finds all occurrences of this position in the workbook."
F9 - inserts a null move
Shift + F3 - runs the 'Identical Positions' function, where the user enters a specific FEN, and the system finds all its occurrences in the workbook
Ctrl + A - in Study, Games and Exercises views, highlights the tree from the selected move and copies it to the clipboard.
Ctrl + B — In Training mode, when there are multiple variations at a specific move, this shortcut returns to the beginning of the training and, after the user’s move, advances to the next variation.
Ctrl + C - in Study, Games and Exercises views copies highlighted moves to the clipboard
Ctrl + D - in the Chapters view, moves the chapter, game or exercise down the list
Ctrl + E - in Study, Games and Exercises views, copy FEN to the clipboard.
Ctrl + F - flips the main chessboard.
Ctrl + I - in Study, Games and Exercises views, inserts a diagram after the move.
Ctrl + J - in Study, Games and Exercises views, inserts a diagram before the move.
Ctrl + K or F8 - When the Engine function is on, it enables or disables overwriting of the existing evaluations. This is helpful if you've previously run the 'Evaluate' function with a long time-per-move and now want to briefly check engine suggestions without losing the detailed evaluation. A message will appear below the main board: 'Position evaluation will no longer be updated' or 'Position evaluation will now be updated.
Ctrl + L - in Study, Games and Exercises views, highlights the whole line of the selected move and copies it to the clipboard.
Ctrl + N — In Training mode, when there are different variations at a specific move, this shortcut goes to the next variation after the system’s move is made. For example, after 1.e4 the study may include 1...c5 and 1...d5. In Training mode, if I play 1.e4 and the system responds with 1...c5, using this shortcut changes the system’s move to the next variation, 1...d5.

For example, after 1.e4 the study may include 1...c5 and 1...d5. In Training mode, if I play 1.e4 and the system responds with 1...d5, using this shortcut changes the system’s move to the previous variation, 1...c5.
Ctrl + S - saves the current Workbook
Ctrl + T - creates a thumbnail for the current chapter, game or exercise. For more details see Thumbnails
Ctrl + U - in Chapters view, moves the chapter, game or exercise up the list
Ctrl + V - in Study, Games and Exercises views, pastes moves stored in the clipboard into the current position. This will only happen when all the moves are legal, otherwise Chess Forge will return an error providing details of the illegal move ("Error pasting variation from the Clipboard")
Ctrl + X - in Study, Games and Exercises views cuts the highlighted moves to the clipboard

Color Shortcuts
