Notes
-
The draft project management guidelines were discussed again. Leo suggested adding a documented process for changing the document. His suggested wording is here and was incorporated into the document. Andreas suggested a section discussing procedures for tracking contributions to a project. Other minor editorial suggestions, including corrections to the checklist in Appedix C were made, after which the document was accepted by acclimation. The final version will be passed to the SLB for approval (Note: the version passed to the TLC is here.
-
The on-line checklist for project review will be updated to reflect the new guidelines (this was done by Ted).
-
Laci is in the process of making a new CoinUtils release and then will consider how the project should be managed going forward.
-
Francois is waiting on Matt for the admin password in order to establish new mailing lists.
-
It was proposed to create an automatically generated front page for each project containing certain skeleton information, such as
- Project description
- License
- Language and supported platforms
- Link to download source and binary releases
- Current version number
- Link to Trac page
- Link to project Web page Brady is working on a script to do the generation of these pages.
-
Three submissions are in progress: k shortest paths, Oboe, and DECOMP. Status is listed on the Wiki pages. Sven Devries never officially submitted his cutting plane code, so someone should follow up with him or remove that submission from the tracking system.
-
Remaining items were tabled.
Respectfully submitted,
Ted Ralphs, TLC Chair
