AiDot for Home Assistant
A Home Assistant custom integration for AiDot / Leedarson Wi-Fi lights and cameras. This is a camera-capable fork of the upstream AiDot-Development-Team/hass-AiDot (lights-only).
The integration is the Home Assistant front-end only - all device communication
lives in the python-aidot-cameras
library, which this integration installs automatically.
What you get
- Lights - on/off, brightness, color (RGBW) and color-temperature.
- Cameras
- Live WebRTC streaming (via go2rtc) and snapshots, LAN-direct when the camera is on the same network.
- Motion / person events for automations.
- Two-way audio - play a clip through the camera speaker.
- Controls: motion detection, status LED, microphone, floodlight and when it comes on by itself, siren, night vision, motion sensitivity, speaker volume, and PTZ and auto-tracking on motorised models.

At a glance
- Install via HACS as a custom repository, then add the integration and sign in with your AiDot account. See Installation.
- Camera streaming needs ffmpeg and go2rtc, both of which ship with Home Assistant OS / Container (go2rtc is bundled with Home Assistant 2026). Without go2rtc the integration falls back to higher-latency HLS.
- Sensible defaults - most users never change a configuration option.
This integration is not affiliated with or endorsed by AiDot or Leedarson. It is community-maintained and provided as-is under the MIT license.
