Supported devices - cbrightly/hass-aidot-cameras GitHub Wiki
| Type | Confirmed models | Entities / features |
|---|---|---|
| Wi-Fi light | Any AiDot / Leedarson RGB, RGBW, CCT, or dimmable-white bulb |
light - on/off, brightness, color, color temperature |
| IPC camera | M3 Pro (LK.IPC.A000088), L2 battery (LK.IPC.A001513), PTZ model (LK.IPC.A001064) | See camera entities below |
| Gateway / hub | A BLE hub on the account (a B1 Plus, say) | Listed by the account but gets no device and no entities here, and the lights behind it are not reachable through this integration (BLE-mesh support was dropped); the hub still works from the AiDot app. From 2.36.0 it is listed under unclaimed in the integration's Diagnostics, with why |
In Home Assistant the cameras and lights nest under one AiDot account device; that is the only hub-shaped device the integration creates.
Any AiDot or Leedarson device not listed here should still work - the table reflects only what has been explicitly confirmed. If you have a working model that isn't listed, please open an issue so it can be added.

switch.<camera>_human_detection |
Human detection -- the camera reports a person rather than plain motion. Mains cameras. | |
switch.<camera>_vehicle_detection |
Vehicle detection. Mains cameras. | |
switch.<camera>_package_detection |
Package detection. Mains cameras. | |
switch.<camera>_pet_detection |
Pet detection. Mains cameras. | |
switch.<camera>_auto_siren |
Automatic siren -- whether the camera sounds its own siren by itself. Separate from siren.<camera>_siren, which sounds it now. |
|
switch.<camera>_auto_siren_on_motion |
Fire the automatic siren on motion. Inert while Automatic siren is off. | |
switch.<camera>_auto_siren_on_person |
Fire the automatic siren only on a person. Inert while Automatic siren is off. | |
switch.<camera>_camera_audio_in_ha_stream |
Camera audio (in HA stream) - SDES cameras (battery models and the mains PTZ); toggles whether this camera's HA live stream includes audio, overriding the global option. Only affects HA's stream (not recordings/app); applies on the next view | Enabled |
light.<camera>_floodlight |
White floodlight/spotlight (models with one) - a light entity (config), off the switch domain | Enabled |
siren.<camera>_siren |
Siren - a siren entity (config), off the switch domain | Enabled |
switch.<camera>_timestamp_overlay |
Timestamp burned into the video (OSDEnable) |
Enabled |
switch.<camera>_hdr |
HDR | Enabled |
switch.<camera>_floodlight_automation |
Light when someone appears -- the camera works its own floodlight on a detection. Renamed in 2.23.0; the entity ID is unchanged | Enabled |
select.<camera>_light_stays_on_for |
How long the floodlight stays on after it triggers: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 seconds. Only on models that DECLARE the setting (the battery L2 line) - the M3 Pro line reports a value it then ignores. From 2.23.0, corrected in 2.23.1 | Enabled |
number.<camera>_light_brightness |
Floodlight brightness 10-100. The floor is 10, not 0: zero is outside the camera's range, and off is the floodlight itself. On every camera that reports it, which was verified on the camera rather than assumed - from 2.23.0 | Enabled |
select.<camera>_light_behavior |
Constant or Flash when the floodlight triggers. Only on models that DECLARE the setting (the battery L2 line) - from 2.24.0 | Enabled |
switch.<camera>_voice_prompts |
Spoken prompts from the camera speaker | Enabled |
switch.ptz_tracking |
Auto-tracking toggle (PTZ models) | Enabled |

Enabled |
switch.<camera>_glass_break_detection |
Glass-break detection - from 2.19.8 | Enabled |

sensor.<camera>_sd_card_total / _sd_card_used
|
SD card capacity as the camera reports it, without a unit - from 2.19.8 | Disabled |
| PTZ buttons | Stop plus only the directions the camera advertises - the A001064 advertises pan only, so it gets left / right / stop and no tilt or zoom buttons. See PTZ control | Disabled |
The cameras listen for glass breaking, a smoke alarm, a baby crying and a dog barking. A switch is created for each detector the camera itself reports, so a model that lists something not named above still gets one, and a model that lists fewer gets fewer.
Three things worth knowing:
- A camera that has not answered reads as unknown, not off. Battery cameras are asleep between views and answer none of this, so they get no switches rather than a row of switched-off ones claiming a state they never reported. They are never woken to ask.
- These refresh slowly (about half-hourly once populated). They change when somebody edits a setting, so they are not worth a request every poll. After a restart they fill in over the first few minutes.
- The SD-card figures carry no unit on purpose. The camera reports bare numbers and does not say what they count. Labelling them bytes would render a confident number that could be wrong by a factor of a million. One camera here reports 29838 total and 28848 used on a 32 GB card, which looks like megabytes -- but "looks like" is not confirmation.
Removed in 2.15.0: switch.<camera>_ir_light. The camera acknowledged every write to it and kept its own value - confirmed by reading the value back on two M3 Pro units - so it was a control that did nothing and reported success. Night vision still drives the IR cut filter via select.<camera>_night_vision.
Entities marked Disabled are created but not enabled by default. Enable them from the device page if you need them (e.g.
sensor.batteryon a battery model, or the PTZ buttons on a PTZ camera).
- Lights - state is pushed over TCP and arrives almost instantly; there is no polling interval.
- Camera attributes (battery, SD card status, occupancy, motion-detection state, night-vision mode, IR state) - refreshed from the AiDot cloud every 5 minutes.
- Device list (to detect newly added / removed devices without a restart) - refreshed every 6 hours.
- Motion events - cloud-polled roughly every 30 seconds.
