Weapon Specific Skills are Skills that have the Condition that they only work when wielding a specific type of Weapon. Most Weapon Specific Skills are granted by the Weapon Mastery that corresponds with that specific type of Weapon. Weapon Specific Skills are improved by the corresponding Weapon Mastery.
