There are far fewer kinds of Weapon Enchantments than Armor Enchantments, and they are substantially rarer, but have the unique Effect of changing the Damage Type of Damage dealt by Weapon Attacks with the Enchanted Weapon. Dealing alternative Damage Types can be important if fighting an enemy that is known to be Immune or Resistant to the Damage Type of the Weapon a character would otherwise be using. Weapon Enchantments each also have some secondary Effect based on the specific Enchantment.
