Sol's power has corrupted many of the native creatures of Umbra and the followers brought from his horrifying home dimension. While most of the natives of Umbra are merely Thralls to Sol's profane might, there are those who have embraced this disturbing power as Sol's Zealots or the more powerful Champions. These Zealots and Champions have been Imbued with Sol's light, granting them power, but at what cost? They become Radiant, marking them forever as the servants of evil.

While Thralls may be saved from the corrupting influence of the Sunstone by Desecrating nearby Temples that spread their defiling power throughout the land, Zealots and Champions are beyond all hope. The power of the light leaves no room for the embrace of shadow in their souls, and they must be destroyed.
