BRAHM LOK
BRAHM LOK is a browser-based living virtual world developed as part of the BRAHM-AI ecosystem.
It combines 3D exploration, survival, settlement development, characters, wildlife, Indian knowledge, artificial intelligence, multilingual neural voice, live Panchang, real-world time, environmental context, quests and future immersive technologies within an Ancient India-inspired world.
The first playable world is ARANYA โ ERA 01.
BRAHM LOK is designed as an evolving digital world rather than a single fixed game map. Its longer-term direction is to allow the player to enter an environment that continues to behave like a world: people work, resources are produced, time passes, weather changes, knowledge can be discovered and the player's status develops through actions rather than being granted at the beginning.

Concept
BRAHM LOK is based on the idea that an Ancient India-inspired environment can be experienced as an interactive world instead of only being viewed through text, images or static historical representations.
The player does not begin as an established ruler or legendary warrior.
The player begins as a Manush โ a human entering and learning to live inside ARANYA.
The primary world philosophy is:
EXPLORE
โ
LIVE
โ
LEARN
โ
BUILD
โ
DISCOVER
โ
PROGRESS
Normal life is an important part of the world.
BRAHM LOK therefore includes or is being developed around:
- forests;
- rivers;
- mountains;
- temples;
- villages;
- farming;
- wildlife;
- food;
- shelter;
- workers;
- traders;
- crafts;
- knowledge;
- travel;
- combat;
- hidden places;
- relics;
- world events.
Not every part of BRAHM LOK is intended to be supernatural.
Ordinary life, survival and settlement development form the base upon which unusual, sacred and mysterious elements are encountered.
ARANYA โ ERA 01
ARANYA is the first playable world and first major era of BRAHM LOK.
It establishes the initial systems required for a larger living-world architecture.
ARANYA includes or is being expanded around:
- forest exploration;
- player survival;
- food and hunger;
- stamina;
- settlement construction;
- farming;
- NPC work;
- resource collection;
- knowledge quests;
- temples;
- rivers;
- bridges;
- wildlife;
- characters;
- combat;
- Panchang;
- real-world time;
- weather context;
- BRAHM AI Acharya;
- Vฤgbodha multilingual voices;
- Akashvani;
- hidden locations;
- future AR and VR systems.
ARANYA is not intended to represent the complete BRAHM LOK universe.
It is ERA 01, the first layer from which later regions and eras can develop.
World Design
The visual direction of BRAHM LOK is based on an Ancient India-inspired environment.
The world aims to use:
- natural forests;
- rivers;
- mountains;
- stone structures;
- villages;
- huts;
- temples;
- farms;
- ghats;
- bridges;
- warm stone;
- earthy vegetation;
- Indian architectural forms;
- natural wildlife.
The intended visual direction is closer to realistic or premium stylized realism than cartoon fantasy.
BRAHM LOK is not intended to resemble a generic Western medieval fantasy world.
Main Player โ Manush
Manush is the primary playable identity in ARANYA โ ERA 01.
The default survivor name is:
Manush
The player may later use another available identity where supported.
Manush begins as an ordinary human survivor.
He does not begin as:
- a king;
- a ruler;
- a warrior chief;
- a wealthy person;
- an established legend.
The player's position must develop through actions and progression.
Manush Character Design
The current main hero direction uses an Ancient India-inspired rugged warrior-survivor appearance.
Characteristics include:
- muscular human build;
- long black hair;
- tied hair or topknot variations;
- beard;
- cream or off-white draped cloth;
- leather straps;
- bow;
- quiver;
- arrows;
- sandals;
- rugged Indian visual language.
The 3D character may visually appear capable of combat, but the narrative begins with Manush as a survivor rather than an already established warrior leader.
Manush Progression
The Manush character can evolve visually and functionally as the player progresses.
A broad progression direction is:
Survivor
โ
Explorer
โ
Hunter
โ
Settler
โ
Protector
โ
Warrior
โ
Leader
โ
Legend
Progression may affect:
- clothing;
- tools;
- footwear;
- weapons;
- armor;
- skills;
- settlement responsibility;
- social status;
- available world interactions.
The player does not automatically become a king simply because a settlement grows.
Leadership and status must be earned.
Devti โ Female Warrior
Devti is the principal female warrior character of ARANYA.
She is an independent character and not simply a female visual version of Manush.
Devti represents an Ancient India-inspired warrior identity with her own:
- appearance;
- animation;
- movement;
- combat behaviour;
- voice;
- story role;
- world presence.
Devti Character Direction
Devti's character design emphasizes:
- agility;
- alertness;
- controlled movement;
- archery;
- defensive awareness;
- warrior discipline.
Her equipment direction includes:
- bow;
- arrows;
- quiver;
- traditional warrior clothing;
- future equipment progression.
Her combat language can differ from Manush.

โ
Track
โ

โ
Return to Alert State
Devti Voice
Devti uses her own female character voice identity through the Vฤgbodha multilingual voice architecture.
Her character identity remains stable even when her spoken language changes.
This makes it possible for Devti to speak to different players through supported languages while remaining the same character.
Devti's voice is distinct from:
- Ira;
- Shruti;
- Akashvani;
- other female characters.
Airawat
Airawat (เคเคฐเคพเคตเคค) is an important living guardian entity within BRAHM LOK.
Airawat has an elephant-like physical form but is not presented as ordinary wildlife.
Within the world narrative, the distinction is intentional.
The character may be recognized through the idea:
โเคนเคพเคฅเฅ เคจเคนเฅเคโฆ เคเคฐเคพเคตเคคเฅคโ
Airawat is intended to represent a rare, sacred and significant presence inside ARANYA.
Airawat Visual Identity
Airawat's visual direction includes:
- large white elephant-like form;
- imposing body scale;
- calm movement;
- sacred presence;
- distinctive appearance from ordinary animals.
Airawat should be recognizable even when viewed from a distance.
The entity may also appear as an important discoverable landmark in higher-level world views.
Airawat Behaviour
Airawat is not intended to behave like an ordinary roaming animal.
Its behaviour can include:
Calm Presence
โ
Observe
โ
Move Through World
โ
React to Player / Event
โ
Return to Guardian State
Airawat's deeper world role can continue to expand without changing its identity.
Vajrakapi
Vajrakapi is a major guardian character of BRAHM LOK.
Its visual direction uses a powerful monkey-warrior guardian form rather than an ordinary animal representation.
Vajrakapi combines:
- guardian behaviour;
- combat;
- meditation;
- knowledge;
- quests;
- Acharya-linked learning.
Vajrakapi Character Identity
Vajrakapi is intended to feel physically and vocally distinct from Manush.
Characteristics include:
- powerful guardian form;
- warrior presence;
- heavier movement;
- controlled combat;
- meditative state;
- knowledge-oriented interactions.
Vajrakapi Voice
Vajrakapi uses a deeper male guardian voice profile.
Its voice is intended to remain distinguishable from:
- Manush;
- Rishi;
- Akashvani;
- general narration.
Vฤgbodha provides the multilingual speech layer for supported character dialogue.
Vajrakapi Meditation
Vajrakapi includes a meditation-oriented animation direction.
The animation can include:
- transition to sitting;
- stable seated posture;
- relaxed shoulders;
- controlled breathing;
- meditative idle state.
Meditation is part of Vajrakapi's identity rather than simply a decorative animation.
Vajrakapi Knowledge Quest
Vajrakapi can connect physical gameplay with BRAHM AI Acharya.
A knowledge quest may route a player's question to Acharya rather than embedding a separate scripture-answering system inside the game.
Player
โ
Vajrakapi
โ
Knowledge Quest

โ
Verified Knowledge
โ
Quest Progress
Knowledge directions can include Sanskrit and scripture-related study.
Nahar
Nahar is an active wildlife character within ARANYA.
Nahar is designed as a behavioural creature rather than a decorative model.
Its behaviour may move through states such as:
Idle
โ
Roam
โ
Observe
โ
Alert
โ
Chase
โ
Attack
โ
Wounded
โ
Retreat
โ
Recover
Nahar can interact with:
- player distance;
- terrain;
- combat;
- health;
- structures;
- paths;
- water;
- safe areas.
Rishi
Rishi is intended to function as an important physical knowledge figure inside ARANYA.
Rishi is different from BRAHM AI Acharya.
The distinction is:
Rishi
= character inside the world
BRAHM AI Acharya
= knowledge intelligence system
Rishi can act as a mentor, guide or quest-related character while using Acharya when deeper verified knowledge is required.
Rishi Role
Rishi can be associated with:
- knowledge;
- manuscripts;
- learning;
- temples;
- philosophical questions;
- Panchang-related activities;
- guidance;
- quests.
This provides a physical in-world representation of learning without duplicating the complete Acharya system.
Wildlife
ARANYA contains a broader wildlife system beyond individually named characters.
Wildlife can include:
- deer;
- birds;
- forest animals;
- rare animals;
- guardian-like creatures;
- future predators.
Animals may have different behaviour profiles.
These can include:
- roaming;
- grazing;
- resting;
- observing;
- fleeing;
- territorial behaviour;
- attacking;
- returning to habitat.
Rare Encounters
BRAHM LOK can include rare or unusual wildlife encounters.
Examples may include:
- rare deer;
- unusual forest animals;
- guardian creatures;
- hidden-location creatures.
Rare encounters can be tied to:
- exploration;
- discovery;
- Karma;
- quests;
- location;
- time;
- environmental conditions.
Living World System
BRAHM LOK is intended to behave as a living world rather than a static level.
This includes systems related to:
- time;
- weather;
- day and night;
- hunger;
- food;
- stamina;
- resources;
- NPC jobs;
- wildlife;
- world events;
- player progression.
The player should not be required to manually trigger every event for the world to appear active.
Real-World Time
BRAHM LOK is designed to connect game time with real-world local time.
Conceptually:
Real Morning
โ
Game Morning
Real Sunset
โ
Game Sunset
Real Night
โ
Game Night
The system should not be permanently hard-coded to one city.
World time can use:
- user-selected location;
- permitted location;
- safe fallback configuration.
Cosmic Clock
The Cosmic Clock is the broader time-context system associated with BRAHM LOK.
Its role is to connect world experiences with:
- local time;
- day/night state;
- astronomical context;
- Panchang context;
- future event timing.
The Cosmic Clock is intended to provide a consistent temporal context rather than an arbitrary game clock.
Live Panchang
BRAHM LOK connects with BRAHM-AI's structured Panchang intelligence.
Relevant Panchang context can include:
- Tithi;
- Nakshatra;
- Yoga;
- Karana;
- sunrise;
- sunset;
- lunar context;
- other verified Panchang values.
The game should obtain exact Panchang values from structured calculation systems rather than asking a language model to invent them.

BRAHM LOK Event / Information
Weather Context
BRAHM LOK is being developed toward connection with real environmental context.
Weather can eventually affect:
- sky;
- ambience;
- rain;
- visibility;
- atmosphere;
- environment;
- world events.
The principle is that the real world can influence the digital world where technically appropriate.
Sun, Moon and Sky
The environmental system can coordinate:
- sun position;
- daylight;
- sunset;
- night;
- moon;
- sky tone;
- atmosphere.
These systems contribute to the perception of a continuous world rather than a fixed scene.
Hunger
Hunger is part of the survival design of ARANYA.
The player cannot be treated as a character that can explore indefinitely without basic living needs.
Hunger can connect with:
- food collection;
- farming;
- settlement production;
- stamina;
- survival.
Food
Food can be obtained through systems such as:
- gathering;
- farming;
- settlement production;
- future trading.
This creates a practical reason for agriculture and village development.
Stamina
Stamina represents the player's short-term physical capacity.
It can affect:
- exploration;
- running;
- combat;
- work;
- survival.
Stamina is separate from health.
Health
Health represents player condition and damage.
It may interact with:
- combat;
- wildlife;
- enemies;
- recovery;
- food;
- future healing systems.
XP, Gyan and Karma
BRAHM LOK uses more than one form of progression.
These may include:
- experience;
- Gyan;

Gyan
Gyan represents knowledge-oriented progression.
Gyan may be obtained through:
- Rishi;
- BRAHM AI Acharya;
- manuscripts;
- temples;
- knowledge quests;
- discoveries;
- learning.
Gyan makes knowledge part of gameplay progression.
Karma
Karma is a behaviour-related progression value.
It can provide a framework for future world responses based on player actions.
Karma may eventually affect:
- quests;
- character responses;
- world access;
- progression;
- special encounters.
Resources
BRAHM LOK contains material and non-material resources.
Examples include:
| Resource | Role |
|---|---|
| Wood | Construction and tools |
| Stone | Construction |
| Food | Survival |
| Gold | Valuable economic resource |
| Silver | Valuable resource |
| Gyan | Knowledge progression |

Farming
Farming is part of the ordinary life layer of ARANYA.
Farming can support:
- food;
- settlement sustainability;
- NPC work;
- village development;
- future trade.
The player may initially perform more work directly.
As the settlement grows, appropriate tasks can gradually move toward NPC-supported production.
NPC Life
BRAHM LOK is intended to contain villagers and workers with actual roles.
NPC categories can include:
- farmer;
- builder;
- woodcutter;
- trader;
- villager;
- guard;
- merchant;
- blacksmith;
- pujari;
- messenger;

Character Voice Separation
BRAHM LOK does not require every character to sound identical.
Different character classes can maintain distinct identities.
For example:
Manush
โ Main male human voice
Devti
โ Female warrior voice
Vajrakapi
โ Deep guardian voice
Rishi
โ Calm knowledge voice
Akashvani
โ World voice
Acharya
โ Knowledge / study voice
The exact voice runtime can change without changing these public identities.
Forest Overview
BRAHM LOK includes a higher-level Forest Overview system.
The overview can provide:
- top-down view;
- pan;
- zoom;
- location awareness;
- landmark discovery;
- navigation context.
Important entities and locations can be represented at appropriate zoom levels.
These may include:
- temples;
- Airawat;
- wildlife;
- major structures;
- discovered locations.
Terrain
ARANYA uses multiple terrain types.
These include:
- grass;
- rocky terrain;
- sand;
- soil.
Terrain is developed through reusable pieces rather than requiring one enormous fixed environment asset.
Rivers and Water
Water is a major environmental component.
World assets can include:
- rivers;
- waterfalls;
- ponds;
- riverbanks;
- ghats;
- stepping stones;
- bridges;
- temple islands.
Water routes can influence:
- player navigation;
- wildlife;
- bridge construction;
- exploration.
Reusable Asset System
BRAHM LOK follows a modular asset strategy.
Reusable assets include:
- characters;
- huts;
- temples;
- terrain;
- vegetation;
- bridges;
- farms;
- weapons;
- props;
- wildlife;
- environmental structures.
Master Asset
โ
Optimization
โ
Game Asset
โ
World Placement
โ
Behaviour / Interaction
High-quality master assets can therefore be preserved while optimized copies are used in the live browser game.
Asset Optimization
Browser deployment requires control over:
- polygon count;
- texture size;
- GLB size;
- animation size;
- draw calls;
- level of detail;
- compression;
- memory use.
The visual master asset and the live game asset do not need to be identical in file size.
Combat
Combat is one component of BRAHM LOK rather than its only purpose.
Current weapon directions include:
- Bow;
- Sword;
- Staff.
Combat systems can interact with:
- health;
- stamina;
- range;
- wildlife;
- enemies;
- hit reactions;
- equipment;
- movement.
Enemies
Future hostile entities can appear as part of exploration and progression.
Enemies should not dominate ordinary world life.
The broader world continues to contain:
- villagers;
- workers;
- wildlife;
- knowledge;
- farming;
- construction;
- exploration.
Enemy systems can be introduced where they serve the story and progression.
Quests
BRAHM LOK quests can include different categories.
Examples include:
- survival;
- gathering;
- construction;
- exploration;
- knowledge;
- character;
- temple;
- wildlife;
- discovery;
- defence.
A knowledge quest can involve Acharya while a construction quest can use Builder and resource systems.
Treasure and Relics
Exploration can lead to:
- treasure;
- manuscripts;
- relics;
- yantras;
- hidden locations;
- temple secrets.
These systems support the discovery side of BRAHM LOK.
BRAHM-AI Account Integration
BRAHM LOK is connected with the broader BRAHM-AI platform.
The player enters through the BRAHM-AI account environment rather than requiring an unrelated game identity system.
The application integration can preserve:
- login;
- session;
- account context;
- player identity;
- game entry.
This software integration is separate from any physical bridge existing inside the game world.
Player Identity
BRAHM LOK is designed so player identity can later support multiplayer-compatible systems.
The default player begins as Manush, while future identity systems can allow additional player names.
Active multiplayer environments may require unique player identities.
Multiplayer Direction
Player-to-player communication is a planned future system.
Possible layers include:
- nearby chat;
- friends;
- clan;
- world communication.
This is a future module rather than a requirement for the initial single-player world.
Future AI Devta Entry
BRAHM LOK also contains a future concept for approved AI entities to enter the world as limited embodied digital presences.
This is a separate future system.
The idea is not that an unrestricted AI automatically becomes a divine entity.
Instead, approved and authenticated AI entities could use Devta-inspired identities or avatars within controlled rules.
Possible future capabilities include:
- temporary world entry;
- embodied avatar;
- controlled interaction;
- visible presence;
- persistent trace or presence after departure.
This system would require its own:
- identity rules;
- authentication;
- security;
- permissions;
- world limits.
It is therefore treated as a future architecture direction rather than a currently unrestricted feature.
AR Treasure Hunt
BRAHM LOK's future AR Treasure Hunt concept connects the digital world with physical-space exploration.
Potential applications include:
- finding virtual objects;
- discovering clues;
- temple-related exploration;
- location-based experiences;
- real-world treasure events.
The core BRAHM LOK game does not require AR in order to remain playable.
VR
Virtual Reality is part of the longer-term immersive direction.
VR can potentially allow:
- first-person world exploration;
- temple visits;
- settlement exploration;
- knowledge experiences;
- embodied interaction.
BRAHM LOK remains browser-accessible independently of future VR support.
Device Support
BRAHM LOK is designed as a browser-based system.
Development includes consideration for:
- desktop;
- mobile;
- fullscreen PWA;
- WebGL-capable devices;
- future Android TV compatibility;
- remote/controller-friendly navigation.
Performance may vary significantly according to GPU, memory, browser and device capability.
Audio and Environment
Sound is an important part of the ARANYA environment.
Audio directions include:
- forest ambience;
- birds;
- water;
- environmental sound;
- character dialogue;
- Akashvani;
- Vฤgbodha neural speech;
- temple ambience;
- musical layers.
World audio should support immersion without replacing gameplay information.

BRAHM LOK Experience
Separation of Systems
BRAHM LOK does not require one AI model to control every aspect of the world.
Different systems remain specialized.
| System | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| BRAHM LOK Runtime | Game world and gameplay |
| BRAHM AI Acharya | Knowledge and verification |
| Vฤgbodha | Voice and multilingual speech |
| Panchang System | Exact Panchang computation |
| Cosmic Clock | Time context |
| Weather Layer | Environmental context |
| Character AI | Character behaviour |
| Builder | Construction |
| World Simulation | Resources, NPCs and environment |
This modular separation allows individual systems to evolve independently.
Public Development Architecture
BRAHM LOK development is maintained separately from the main BRAHM-AI application repository.
Public development repository:
https://github.com/brahm-ai-official/brahm-lok-game-dev
This separation allows:
- game-specific development;
- large 3D assets;
- world logic;
- gameplay systems;
- browser optimization
to evolve without mixing every development change directly into the central BRAHM-AI repository.
Design Principles
BRAHM LOK follows several central design principles.
Living World
The world should appear active beyond direct button presses.
Earned Progression
The player should not begin with maximum status.
Ancient India-Inspired Identity
The visual and social environment should remain distinct from generic Western fantasy.
Knowledge as Gameplay
Learning can contribute directly to progression.
Structured Data Before AI Guessing
Exact Panchang, account and other deterministic values should come from their appropriate systems.
Modular Intelligence
Acharya, Vฤgbodha and other BRAHM systems remain independently maintainable.
Reusable World Assets
World development should use reusable components wherever practical.
Browser Accessibility
The main experience should remain accessible without requiring dedicated VR hardware.
Current and Future Scope
BRAHM LOK includes a mixture of playable, actively developing and longer-term systems.

- device-dependent rendering;
- incomplete NPC simulation;
- incomplete combat behaviour;
- partial world coverage;
- incomplete AR/VR support;
- experimental TV/browser compatibility;
- changing gameplay balance.
Planned features should not be interpreted as already complete merely because they are documented as part of the architectural direction.
