Oblique lattice

The parallelogram cell - only translations and half-turns, no mirrors or glides.

The oblique (parallelogram) lattice is the least constrained of the four: its cell is a general parallelogram, and the only symmetries available are translations and, for p2, 2-fold rotations. No reflections, no glides.

Each group is shown as three figures - the tiling view (the motif repeated, with the fundamental-domain tile tinted and the V1/V2 cell vectors marked), the group's cluster node, and the symmetry-elements view in international notation. See the overview for how to read them, and Reading the symmetry notation for what the codes mean.

p1 - translations only

p1 tiling - translations only: the motif repeated with the fundamental-domain tile tinted and the V1/V2 cell vectors marked

p1 cluster node - Motif and V1 inputs, RepeatX / RepeatY / Deskew, and Pattern / Domain outputs

p1 symmetry elements - translations only: mirror lines, glide lines and rotation centers in international notation

p2 - 2-fold rotations

p2 tiling - 2-fold rotations: the motif repeated with the fundamental-domain tile tinted and the V1/V2 cell vectors marked

p2 cluster node - Motif and V1 inputs, RepeatX / RepeatY / Deskew, and Pattern / Domain outputs

p2 symmetry elements - 2-fold rotations: mirror lines, glide lines and rotation centers in international notation
