Select objects and move them; the drag direction sets how the marquee behaves.

Click an object to select it, or drag a marquee to select several; Shift-click adds to or removes from the selection. The drag direction matters. Drag left -> right and you get a solid blue box that selects only objects fully enclosed by it. Drag right -> left and you get a dotted green box that selects anything it touches, even partly. Once selected, drag to move; everything built on what you move follows.
