   Line: Angle Bisector (tool)

The line that bisects the angle between two arms.

Two frames: Line (a full line through the vertex splitting the angle) and Only Ray (a ray anchored at the vertex).

Menu: Construct > Line: Angle Bisector | Node: Angle Bisector | In depth: Lines, rays & segments

Pick a vertex and two arms (points or objects). Turn on Only Ray for a half-line from the vertex instead of a full line.

Splits an angle exactly in half, and keeps splitting it as the arms move.

The classical construction takes two arcs and a line. This is the same result in three picks, and unlike a line you drew by eye it stays exactly halfway when the angle changes.

Only Ray matters when the bisector is scaffolding: a full line runs both ways from the vertex and can cross geometry you did not mean it to, while a ray stops at the vertex and only goes into the angle.
