Give Minecraft more memory: CurseForge app
Set it for the Dungeon Train profile. The global setting is further down if you'd rather change it for every modpack.
Just the Dungeon Train profile (recommended)
- Open My Modpacks and select Dungeon Train.
- Click the ⋮ (three dots) menu next to Play and choose Profile Options.
- Allow the profile its own memory setting:
- Newer versions of the app: turn on Custom RAM Allocation.
- Older versions: untick Use System Memory Settings.
- Drag the memory slider to about 6 GB, shown as 6144 MB where the app displays MB.
- Click Done.
Every modpack (global setting)
- Click the gear icon (Settings) at the bottom left.
- Under Game Specific, click Minecraft.
- Scroll to Java Settings.
- Drag Allocated Memory to about 6 GB. It saves automatically.
Then fully close the game and press Play again. The new memory only applies from the next launch.
The CurseForge app's labels change between versions. The two names in step 3 are the ones it has used.
Other launchers: see Give Minecraft more memory.
