The togglebarpadding function can be used to toggle the BarPadding functionality on
and off.
In principle the functionality can be toggled on its own, but this has the side effect of needing to manually toggle the display of the bar on and off using togglebar for the change to come into effect.
As such this is a helper function.
There are no default keybindings for this function.
