Session 2 - 19th January 2025 Recap by: Ralph Haas 02 Nov 1934 - arrival to Savannah early on the morning of 03 Nov 2024 03 Nov all morning visit the Joy Grove Sanitarium

Current Leads: Mr Job, from California and has the same “Case” as Henslow. He did kill a man and it blames it on something else, a “monster”. Mr Henslow also has had the same Monster idea at the same hallucination. Check on Frank Hickering and show the note to house keeper.

We fly to Savannah Georgia by airplane. Outside Savannah: 30 miles SE of the city is : -23 Old Hope Rd -13 miles southeast of the city : 513 West Henry St: Joy Grove Sanitarium Frank has organised cars for us in Savannah.

Stay at The DeSoto Hotel, situated on the elegant Broughton Street.

City (Savannah) is vibrant. Walter Winston friend is here We go to Asylum: Douglas Henslow is here. We meet Dr. Keaton: he has been treating Douglas for many years. Doctor sais this is a fascinating case because he has some delusional memories: extremely case of shared illusion with another patient: Mr. Job. Dr. can organise a visit for us to meet the patients. Douglas had built as part of his delusion that he was a friend with Walter. Walter or his daughter Janet never visited Douglas. Nurse, Ms. Hampton gave us the forms to fill them in about our visit at thre asylum. Job had killed a man: . Mikail: Between these symbols see another one: A part of the wall splits and opens and looks like a mouth with yellowish lips and broken teeth: mouthing words! And then it is gone. Robert: looking at symbols: from different traditions (Jewish, Catholic, Voodoo etc..). Common is that all seem to be symbols with Occult significance, designed to protect people. Dr. Keaton: walks on the corridor: opens examination room: we see Douglas! He clearly looks out of shape, old, long hair, losing hair, 50s?, looks bad, looks at Dr. Keaton:”these came to see you, friends of Walter!”, We tell him we got his letters!, Nolan asks: “What happened back in the summer 1924 august?”.Douglas tells us there was a group , a Cult that put drugs on the streets, gather evidence, photos, travelled and was exciting like detectives, they followed the drugs across the country, went to LA for investigation and everything terrible happened then, Walter was a businessman, very smart, pharmacist and made an empire and money to form a group and he was the leader, to battle the perversity of the world, this Cult represented. Back in summer 1924: they knew something big was on in LA: the Cult was planning to summon and fund their operation, They figured that the Cult was in contact with that thing with 1000 mouths and planned to summon it, wanted to call it in the barn outside LA where they gathered and that night stars: rushed with guns and firearms to STOP it to save the world, but a lot of people died o the fire and shootout, killed some people, people running and screaming, THAT thing appeared tearing people apart and flamed were around and people got crazy and that THING came for them and Walter panicked and ran and fire and screams behind them. Asks from us to stop the Cult. They failed! Douglas asks us to find/check his Notebook, the Key and make sure the Cultists are not active! It is in his estate: We need to ask Frank Hickering. he hangs over a note to us towards . Mentioning John to help us. The cultists were depraved, taking drugs never heard of before: in the name of their god, monsters, IF they are still active.

Nurse mentions that the patients often/some of them write maybe she has seen these water stains on the walls: the water stains, actually come and go.

Douglas Henslow Dr. Keaton: Robert is taken out of the room ! Mikail asked Douglas if Job from the asylum is a cultist?? => YES according to Douglas. Job killed one of them, he killed Vince Stack “the fixer”. The fixer was there and was killed by Job :-( During that night 4 people were there ( 1 woman, 3 men): Walter Winston, Vins Stack, Douglas Henslow, Kathrine Clark (sharp, record keeper and hated the Cult) and FC Kullman (on wheelchair and bright as can be!). Today the (living) survivors are: Job, Douglas Douglas: “They are watching me! Job told him these symbols: write them on the walls. Sometimes we see mouths on walls. The thing with a thousands mouth ripped Kathrine’s head.”

Ralph shows the photo with the head: Douglas: “Spying symbols, they are are spying from the walls. “This is it! Still watching us! “ Douglas is given the needle and we go out. Note: Douglas did not see the spying mouth in the asylum- The nurse did.

Ralph tried to suggest Dr. Keaton there are experiences not easily explainable or something, but it seems Dr. Keaton is not a believer, or so it seems or perhaps he is part of the Cult Douglas mentioned..

Time for Dinner before we return to visit Job at the Asylum
