Recap by: Sam (draft) 31/10/1934 NY. 5 cars stop. We all get off the cars. Gate closes.Nolan sees Mr.Frank Kearns. Looks like a regular hangar. Old plane. One of the corners is like a lounge. Bookcases. Couch, arm chairs. lady: JANET WINSTON ROGERS.When she sees Maikl, Robert: she knows them. Beverages. 7 glasses with expensive looking scotch. Dead Walter Winston had a Pharmaceutical empire. Business exploded after the war. Obsession! Getting distant away from home most of 1924 he passed away from home! When at home he was micking people. NOT business people. They looked interested in the Occult. A lot of visits. Him spending time away, her mom started drinking. Then in August 2024: something happened: he came back home and seemed deranged! Rattled. No more meeitngs with those strange people, stopped travelling. He was not well. Burnt all his books. Barely eat. He was feeling something, jump at shadows, like as if HE WAS WATCHED! He forbid us asking about his travels / happened or where he was. Only said “nothing matters any more”. Mother died due to alcoholism in 1932. Father did not grieve. He seemed like a shadow. Paranoid, frustrated. Would not leave the house. Until this year he passed away. Stopped eating… She is the last of the WINSTONS. Ralph did not find anything occult. Reports, accounting were OK. Valuable things found. ONE THING: she kept for herself a FEW LETTERS. Occasionally father would receive after 1924 letters. She saw him read them over and over and new letters would keep on arriving. BUT father was not writing or responding. Letters from Douglas Henslow! Probably one of the cultists/people that came to the house for meetings.

“Henslow wrote a few times to write down what had happened. Father never answered. Last letter arrived before father died. He is in Savannah Georgia”. HE should know what happened in 1924? what happened? Upfront 500$ for coming here. Husband (Oracio) and father is deceased. Frank will be our pilot. She hands over to Mikail letters. Husband died in automobile february 1933. Office at our disposal. The house is empty now. No more letters. There is someone who keeps an eye. At least 2 days: we are in NY now. Let’s go to Massachuchetes. Then to Georgia.

Warer moisture stains. There is a damage on wall paper and underneath is this imprinted on the chalk Now that I am looking at the walls: pretty sure there were paintings hanging on these spots. Paintings not that worthy: less valuable than paintings in the house.

Mikael gets in touch with Janet . ½ hour later she calls back and gives him the address of Jenkin the battler (in Boston). MIkael visits the battler: master used to travel a lot for business and associates (1 lady & 3 gentlemen) . June 1924: any features on the visitors? YES one of the gentlemen was on a wheelchair. Battler set a bon fire. After that Walter told him to go because of something not defined. The painting was related to an event that disturbed Walter: he kept on saying that they were watching or after him. Once he came to the battler out of him terrified and took him to a specific room to see the warer mark on the wall. Walter had seen that the water had damaged the wallpaper and removed the wallpaper to expose the markings, he was out of himself. Walter had this part of the wall chalk removed. BUT the stain reappeared on the same spot. Wlater was terrified and asked him to hung an old painting from the attic to cover that spot. And asked the battler to lock that room and never enter again. Walter was freaked out of an event and showed him that.

Ralph meets Janet. She thought the house was haunted. “Looked creepy! Appeared from nowhere. Father was worried about these. House was empty. Nobody would do something like this on the walls”.
