After an initial stakeout of the address provided for Daniel Lowman that saw two thugs knocking at the door apparently trying to find him, the team rented a property opposite to stake the place out.

Lowman arrived on the night of 24 January. William and Nolan enter the apartment through the rear while Mikhail and Michael distract him with cookies at the front door. He is not distracted for long and returns inside, in his bedroom. Lowman enters and the two have to hide. Lowman takes a box from under the bed and take a vial of nectar, masturbates for an hour and falls asleep.

The boys search the apartment. A box of 3 different types of Nectar (LA, local, Malta). A note talks about great sacrifices made in Malta to greatly increase the production, and suggests to provide nectar to Daniel from Malta rather than from LA. A telegram from the Siamese thugs who attacked the team in Savannah. 5k currency. An accounting book listing a number of expeditions from 1926 to the present day. They leave the flat and return to the stakeout.

They then decide to kidnap Lowman. They let themselves back in, wake and cuff him and lead him out to a waiting car. They take him to the hotel and question him. He does not care at all about the gods and religion that his superior might follow, he does not care if they are going crazy. He is in it for the money and the drugs. He can take the investigators to Savitree. He says that she will be here tomorrow for the next fight night, which is every three nights. He can take them there, or they can go on their own by using a special pass phrase. Daniel is very calm during the whole situation, and keeps on telling the investigators, “you do not know what you are doing”.
