Campaign Synopsis (Spoiler-Light)

Star Wars: Forgotten Ones is a unique roleplaying experience set during the turbulent Rebellion Era. You, the players, will portray individuals who awaken aboard a mysterious, ancient starship, the Venture, with fragmented memories of past lives from diverse epochs of galactic history.

Torn from your original times for reasons unknown, you are the "Forgotten Ones." Your journey will be one of discovery – uncovering the secrets of your own lost pasts, understanding why you were preserved, and navigating the complex and dangerous galaxy of the present day. Ancient mysteries, shadowy organizations, and the echoes of choices made millennia ago will intersect with the ongoing Galactic Civil War, forcing you to forge new destinies amidst a universe in turmoil.

Core Themes

Our campaign will explore several key themes:

• Lost Time & Found Purpose: Grappling with being out of sync with the galaxy and finding new meaning.
• Memory & Identity: The nature of memory, how it shapes us, and what happens when it's fractured or manipulated.
• Truth & Deception: Unraveling complex truths in a galaxy where information is often a weapon and allegiances are rarely clear.
• The Weight of History: How the past influences the present, and the responsibility that comes with carrying forgotten knowledge.
• Adaptation & Resilience: Characters adjusting to a vastly changed galaxy and overcoming profound personal challenges.

Game Style & Expectations

• Narrative-Focused & Character-Driven: This campaign prioritizes collaborative storytelling, character development, interpersonal relationships, and the unfolding mystery over tactical combat. Expect rich roleplaying opportunities and moments where your character's choices significantly impact the narrative.
• Minimal Combat: While conflict is a part of the Star Wars universe and may occur, combat encounters will be infrequent and will always serve to advance the story or highlight character choices. This is not a combat-heavy campaign.
• Cooperative Storytelling: We are all building this story together. Players are encouraged to contribute ideas, support each other's character arcs, and actively participate in shaping the narrative alongside the Game Master.
• Posting Frequency: To keep our shared story dynamic and engaging, we aim for players to post at least once per day. We understand real life happens, and communication about availability is key.
• Overall Tone: While the campaign may explore mature themes (such as trauma, loss, ethical dilemmas, and the darker aspects of power), the overall atmosphere is intended to be "Light" to "Neutral." The focus will be on mystery, adventure, hope, and the resilience of the sentient spirit, rather than pervasive grimness.
• Player Agency: Your choices matter. The direction of the story will be significantly influenced by the decisions your characters make.
• System: We are using the Star Wars Saga Edition ruleset primarily as a framework to support the narrative. Specific interpretations or modifications can be found in our House Rules & Rulings.

Communication & Conduct

• Please be respectful of all players and the GM.
• Communicate any absences or periods of low activity in advance if possible.
• This is a collaborative game; let's work together to make it a fun and memorable experience for everyone!

Getting Started

• If you're a new player, please ensure you have submitted your character concept in the #Casting-Call channel as per the instructions in the welcome message. Guidance for this can be found on the Character Generation page.
• Familiarize yourself with the other sections of this Wiki as they are updated – particularly Characters and Worlds & Locations – to stay informed about our shared universe.
• Review the House Rules & Rulings to understand any campaign-specific mechanical adjustments.
