The swamplands is an area located near the center of the Isle of Mists, situated between the cities of Silverfield and Haverton. The main road runs along the east edge of the swamplands, with mainly forest surrounding the rest.

The swamplands are home to the group of tribesmen, including Doug, as well as many large beasts such as Giant Toads and Giant Snakes.

Located in the center of the swamplands is the Ruins of Elven City, now in ruin and sparsely populated by tribesmen.
