Calls for exams

In ASSESSMENT > Calls teachers can create calls for exams for the current course. The calls for exams are listed in descending order of date, from the most recent to the oldest. Each of the calls for exams is shown in the calendar as an event in orange with a link to the call.

New call for exam

To create a new call for exam, you must click on the New call icon (plus sign) at the top left of the box or the button New call at the end of the list. A form appears with the following fields:

  • Course. By default this field appears filled with the full name of the course, but you can edit it.
  • Year or semester. N/A, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th,...
  • Session. Ordinary, extraordinary, partial, final, June, September,...
  • Exam date. Date (year, month and day) on which the exam will take place.
  • Start time. Time (hour and minute) for the exam to take place. Unlike other dates and times on the platform, which are displayed in the user's local time zone, the calls for exams always show the dates and times that teachers wrote, without adjusting them to the local time zone of the user.
  • Approximate duration. Approximate duration of the exam expressed in hours and minutes.
  • Place of exam. Physical place (classroom, laboratory) or virtual (platform, web) in which the exam will take place.
  • Mode. Written, spoken,...
  • Structure of the exam. Detailed description of the examination structure, including each of its parts and the duration of each part.
  • ID required. Personal documents required to prove that the student is who he or she claims to be (ID, passport, ...).
  • Material required. Notes, books, pen, pencil, calculator,... which are mandatory to take to the exam.
  • Material allowed. Notes, books, pen, pencil, calculator,... which can optionally be taken to the exam.
  • Other information. Any other information for the students that the teachers consider opportune to clarify.

When you fill in the fields, you must press the button Publish call. The new call for exam will be listed and a link to it will be created in the calendar.
