Cod are common spawns in polar ocean biomes. They always spawn in schools of 6 fish.

As ambient, neutral animals, they can be picked up without issue. They can also be picked up in a bucket.

Cod cannot be tamed, but are still perfect for your exhibits anyways! As fast speed animals, it may take you a couple of tries.

Cod have 4 hearts (8 points) of health, can deal 0 hearts of damage, and drop cod upon death.

As ambient animals, they do not need specialized care.

Cod can be bred with mussels.

There are three variants of cod in ZAWA Evolved: baccalo, fish and chips, and lemon butter.
