Love them or hate them, these adaptable little varmints are cute, cuddly feeder pals for your snakes, dragons and raptors. Just like bettas, rats now have breed-only colors!

Brown rats are common spawns in wet forest biomes in groups of 4.

As ambient, timid animals they can be picked up with a right click without issue.

Brown rats cannot be tamed, but are still perfect for your exhibits anyways! As fast speed animals, it may take you a couple tries.

Brown rats have 3 heart (6 points) of health, can deal 0.5 hearts (1 point) damage, and drop rat upon death.

As ambient animals, they do not need specialized care.

Brown rats can be bred with seeds.

While the cheddar, stilton, and gruyere color variants can all be found in wild rats, only in captive-bred rats can you find the swiss and romeo color variants!
