Description
As the game theme is about Survival, Thriller, Adventure, Action, Rogue-like, the player needs some weapons and inventory to survive and escape the darkness. In line with the emotional goal, the weapons are designed to be melee weapons, such as sword, axe, firecracker and dagger. Corresponding to the general art style, the weapon and items are in 2D pixel style.
Inventory
Bandage and Tourch
- Grey toned colour code
- Corresponding to player abilities of protecting and lightening the darkness
- Items to be picked up in the environment
Helmet and Armour
- The first tier includes the helmet
- The second tier includes helmet and armour
- Armour pieces for player to pick up
Courency
- Different amount of money
- Money bag can be droped by a final boss (future feature)
Weapons
The weapons are axe, sword, dagger and firecracker which are common weapons. Users may be familiar with thoese weapons and have a basic understanding of weapon abilities, which facilitates the playbility of the game. These weapons are designed in a grey tone, which is in line with the game theme and general art style.
Axe
- A heavy and slow weapon
- With a high damage
- Animation: top-dwon swing
Sword
- A middle range attack weapon
- With moderate damage
- Animation: bottom-up swing
Dagger
- A short range weapon
- Can be reloaded quickly
- Animation: straight stab
Firecracker and Explosion
- A firearm
- Has limited use
- With long reloading time
- Animation: throw and explode
