Overview

As the development of the game has progressed, the expected quality of assets has increased. As such, it is necessary to return to old assets and either update them to bring them up to the standards of similar assets or add additional assets to fill in areas that were missing. This helps to improve the immersive quality of the game and, in the case of increasing the quality of assets, make the game juicy. For the player, there are two mains areas necessary to polish. The first is to update the ranged attack texture, as the original asset was only meant to be for the ammo pickup and not the attack itself, and add an animation to the rock breaking to provide feedback to the user. The second is to add additional player animations, specifically for differeing armour and injury states as these have been expanded since, and a new animation for the invinciblity ability. Again, adding this additional assets will help provide immersive feedback to the player, improving the overall experience.
