Overview

The background music used in Beastly Bistro was inspired by 8-bit retro themes, whilst also having a more modern tone. The song chosen was 'Powerup!' by Jeremy Blake, due to its upbeat 8-bit theme, catchy melody and, importantly, it is non-copyrighted and free to use.

Implementation

The built-in function playMusic() was utilised to add and play 'Powerup!'.
