The STM32 is a microcontroller that we are attempting to replace the Teensy 4.1 with. It is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 processor. We have not settled on a specific model yet. The STM32 will be used as the main microcontroller for the SRAD Avionics platform. It will run the flight code and be connected to all the sensors and the radio. We will design a new Unified Board to accommodate the STM32 and its supporting components.
