Short platinum-blonde hair in a blunt chin-length bob with a straight fringe, and round black-framed glasses she wears constantly — a bookish look that sets her apart from her mostly long-haired classmates. Her most striking feature is freckles scattered not just across her face but over her whole body — arms, shoulders, torso, and legs. Pale skin, blue-grey eyes, and a curvy hourglass figure with a full bust and notably wide hips and thighs.

Undressed. Elsie's whole body is freckled — not just her face but every inch of her, a dense all-over speckling of dark flecks over porcelain-pale skin, from shoulders and chest down her back, ass, hips, and thighs to her legs. She's curvy: a full bust, a narrower waist, and notably wide hips over thick, heavy thighs. Her breasts are full and round, soft and heavy with a natural fullness, the nipples small and pale-pink and pointing down and slightly out on medium pale-pink areolae, freckled to the areolae. Her ass is round and full, projecting from those wide hips. Between her thighs she's smooth and clean-shaven, a bare mound and a neat closed slit, the freckling carrying right down over her belly and inner thighs. Bookish glasses, and freckles head to toe.

Uniform across the levels. Elsie wears the plain collared-blouse variant of the uniform and leans studious and layered with it, favouring knitwear and keeping her knee-high socks on at every level. At level 1 it's a neat white blouse, plaid pleated mini, and white knee-highs; by level 5 a ribbed sleeveless turtleneck crop with detached sleeves over a micro skirt and shorts — cropped but still covered up top; by level 10 the knit is reduced to an open long-sleeved shrug baring her chest, though the glasses and knee-socks stay. Even at the extremes she keeps more on than most — the covered, cosy layering fits her modest streak.

Gentle, modest, and quietly bookish — a calm, studious sort, happiest with her glasses on and something to focus on. Around people she doesn't know well she reads as soft-spoken and reserved, easy to overlook. But she's an ambivert, not a true introvert: with the handful of people she trusts — above all her girlfriend Yuriko Oshima — she's a completely different person, warm, chatty, openly affectionate and trusting. She's the steady anchor Yuriko leans on; where Yuriko is prickly and withdrawn, Elsie is patient and kind.

Level progression. Her modesty softens only gradually as the campus climate rises (see School Levels) — she keeps more covered than most and follows her own comfort rather than the crowd. What doesn't change is the split: reserved in the open, wholly open with the few she trusts.
