FineBuild can Configure the Processor Properties available in SSMS for the SQL Server Instance.

The SQL Instance Processor Properties do not normally need to be altered.

For systems with 8 or more processor cores, performance can be improved by setting processor affinity. Setting CPU affinities for SQL Server, I-O and network is an advanced topic beyond the scope of SQL FineBuild. If you have more than 8 processor cores, you should research this issue in detail before any affinity settings are made.
