Milestone 3: Contribution Summary - SENG-350-2024-fall/Team3 GitHub Wiki
This milestone involved the implementation of a variety of features which while still need to be efficiently merged, map out the general flow of the user through the app. In this, work work distributed among the team members to work on separate components of the code. Dave further implemented the baseplate/main branch which servers as the backbone for all the other work completed. This involved improving the triage questions, creating of new home page layouts, and map out the logical flow of the system. Grygorii worked through integrating the previously conceptualized and separately developed clinic/doctors/schedules database into the Django database, as well as the introduction of a new placeholder virtual triage determination page to access the patient, and the system for the scenarios when users attempt to book a clinic appointment, creating the list page, confirmation or choice page, and confirmation of booking page. Daniel implemented the user Profile page containing information relevant to the user with its corresponding design and layout allowing for image insertions and updating of the user's profile. Leo implemented the Health and Resources page which is a general information page with knowledge that could be useful to users. It is a discovery resource in a way that helps users manage their health and wellness more effectively. Kiyan worked further by implementing the new version of the triage analyzer and patient prioritization. This component is more prevalent to the paramedics and ED visit options which are to be worked on throughout milestone 4. It contains a third-party API to help analyze and prioritize users based on their severity and the nature of the issue the patient is dealing with and additionally, working through finalizing the setup of the Raspberry Pi to contain the remote database, which is necessary to test load distribution and generalize all the databases throughout out the team. Wiki write-up was evenly split among the group members.
