Coastal city in Fildaera, once founded by elves, now more and more human, halfling, gnome and other influences seem to find their way into the city. The royalty (the Tralei family) still rules it, and the river ... still flow's trough it.

Trade is mostly by sea and ship; to Astian, Or'Ell and even with the Larûc Empire. By land there are some traderoutes to Or'Ell as well, and to the Echovault Forest and beyond (Yoved Jotgen, Don Callum).

The city is mostly build from white stone, and azure blue roofs. Even the city defences are build in this style, in Elven beauty. The banners the city flies are white with a blue star on it.

Districts:
-Eastern Docks; just outside the city walls on the eastern side of the city. Small docks for river-ships
-Western Docks; outside the three sea-gates lays the main source of income for

Istiathal troops mostly keep to the city, and have a rare cooperation with troops from Egavi Phia to man the fortres on the Or'Ell border. They also sometimes patrol the land-routes between the city and Seasole and to Essavu, tough only if crime there gets real bad.

notable buildings:

• the Istiathal Observatory, located just outside of the city, on the north on a hill at the edge of the Chelvern Wilds.
• the Orym Carcerem, the prison of the city, located deep under the ground.
