Summary

  • Broken Chamber
    • Elzaren names his horse Maya
    • There is Dwarven carvings on the stone inside, which Magfeel translates: Broken Chamber Wall Etching.
    • The ground under the water in the chamber is white and gravely.
    • Magfeel spots an item across the water.
    • The party takes a rest, and the sun begins to set.
    • Usunaar detects that the entire chamber has been consecrated.
    • Magfeel swims into the pool to reach the item, which is a chest.
      • The mound seems to be carved stone, but upon inspection is fossilized poop.
      • There are fossilized remains that may belong to Bleikri Swiftstone.
      • Inside the chest:

        • Magic Gold Ring with Blue Band
    • Grass in the water are decorated with pieces of bone.
  • Loch Gulrush
    • The party reunites with the Dwarf to tell her that the Hydra is dead.
    • Usunaar tries to assert his dominance over Grimfeast, but it resists and tells him to kill the Dwarf. Ultimately, he is able to resist.
    • She is not familiar with the old Dwarven sites of this area.
    • She does not plan to stick around for long.
    • Heading back into town, the party hears that something is following them.
      • Magfeel calls out in a ruse to seem helpless.
      • They respond in an unknown language.
      • Bipedal, medium sized, scaly skin, and fish-like heads. Rough tunics.
      • Elzaren gives them a piece of parchment and a pen. Their leader draws a creature with many heads. Then he draws crude renderings of the party.
      • Church ritual casts Comprehend Languages while Elzaren plays a docile tune and Magfeel dances.
      • He wants us to come with him to his father. Refers to us as the "scions of heaven".
        • We killed their god, the Hydra.
        • The party agrees to follow them back to Broken Chamber.
  • Broken Chamber (again)
    • They swim down towards a hatch that requires two of them to open.
      • The opening has an iridescent barrier, leading to air.
  • Terminal
    • On the wall opposite the opening is a carving of the hydra, surrounded by fish men.
    • The path is flanked with water, and within the water are mud mounds with rough windows.
    • Oog-mi tells us this place is called Terminal. They have been there for eons. They once served foul creatures, but found new gods. They are "speakers of the gods".
      • Every time a new creature kills their god, it seems like that thing becomes their god.
      • They revere things with many limbs.
    • Chum (his brother?) leads us to the archpriest, his father, Frig.
    • Church tells the archpriest we defeated the Hydra easily.
    • He wants to decide the party's fate: the party owes him two gods.
    • Magfeel tries to offer him a glowing staff as some sort of trapped god: Aldeez.
      • He buys it, and gives the party two tides to bring another god.

Next Steps

  • Come up with another a god for Frig.
