Summary

Searching for healing herbs, Usunaar and Magfeel hears the snapping of twigs.
- Usunaar gives Magfeel the Elven longsword.
- Magfeel determines something draconic is nearby through his Primevil Awareness.
- A larva-like creature emerges with large pinchers.
- An Ankheg emerges!
- The rest of the party hears the commotion and rides to check it out.
- After almost losing Usunaar and Magfeel, the Ankheg is defeated.
The party travels back to the den where they fought Rotclaw Gnolls to rest and heal.
The party continues south at a slower pace to spot danger.
They hear a woman crying further down the path, out of sight.
- A Halfling woman and man look beat up: Landa and Neals.
- They are surrounded by Goblins on wargs with some sort of leader.
- The party scares them off through Elzaren's lying, Church's illusionary sound of drums, and Usunaar riding down the path towards them.
- The halflings were on their way to Camp Theod from Furion's Crossing.
