Last updated: 01.2025
Fate Points, often called "Schips" in German, are a valuable resource in DSA5. They allow players to influence fate and correct or improve failed rolls.
Schips Display
Fate Points are displayed in the header area of the character sheet. You'll see:
- The current number of available Schips
- The maximum number of Schips

Using Schips
After a dice roll, various options appear in chat to use Schips. The available options depend on the result and type of roll.

| Re-roll Dice | Roll one or more dice again | After any roll |
| Add +1 QL | Increase the quality level by 1 | After a successful roll |
| Improve Result | Reduce the dice result by 2 | After any roll |
| Re-roll Damage | Roll the damage dice again | After a damage roll |

How to Use Schips

- The result appears in chat
- Right-click on the chat message or use the Schips buttons
