All CDR activities must run on a dedicated server with good connections to both PADME DAQ system and to the GRID. The current CDR central server is padmeui (192.84.128.222) and is located at the INFN LNF Tier2. This node has a 10Gbps connection to the central Tier2 switch, which is in turn connected to the PADME DAQ system with a 10Gbps link, to the CNAF Tier1 site with a >10Gbps link and to the KLOE library with a 1Gbps link.
padmeui is configured as a GRID User Interface (UI) and is managed as part of the INFN LNF Tier2 service. All request to change the node configuration and/or to add or update the system software must be addressed to the INFN LNF Tier2 management.
Due to a problem with the SSL libraries (under investigation), padmeui is currently not able to connect to the storage systems at CNAF. All data transfer processes involving copying to/from CANF are currently handled from the tier2-ui004 UI node of the LNF Tier2. The CDR processes used there are identical to those used on padmeui.
