The Domain vocabulary is a service OMOP vocabulary. It includes concepts that describe all domains represented in OMOP vocabularies. These concepts are used to fill the domain table in CDM.

The Domain vocabulary is created and supported by the vocabulary team.

The concept names refer to the OMOP-defined Domains to which the Concepts of the Standardized Vocabularies can belong.

All concepts are assigned with the same concept code ‘OMOP generated’.

All concepts in the Domain vocabulary are non-Standard.

All concepts in the Domain vocabulary belong to the Metadata domain.

All concepts in the Domain vocabulary belong to the Domain concept class.

Deprecated Concepts are linked to the valid concepts in the Domain vocabulary with replacement relationships.
