##History
Teamboard is a component of the FreeNest Product Platform 1.4 developed during CSW program 2011-2013. It was built on the need to have a ticket board, which could perform in different environments such as kanban and service design. Teamboard allowed users to freely move around their tickets and other elements, it made (supposedly) infinite scrolling and zooming possible. It did however lack any proper structure which would allow tickets to have proper state stored in them. It also featured a war-room mode to view the changes made in real time.
The original Teamboard had several ready made backgrounds based on different models.
During the development of the original Teamboard the need for this sort of product was recognized in the market. For example in our reference model we are using Trello. Product Overview
"Teamboar" is the reference product chosen for our reference environment. It is meant to be developed using our reference environment so that we can see the various flaws and areas of improvement in our development environment. Development is done as a training effort for research purposes at JAMK University of Applied Sciences.
"Teamboar" is an open source real-time collaboration tool for teams. It features a rich API for third-party developers. Modern technologies enable for scalability, reliability and continuous value delivery. It is developed in a mobile first mindset, which means that the user gets the best experience regardless of screen size. "Teamboar" takes the best features from the original Teamboard and packages them in a modern application that works across all popular platforms.
##Target Audience
Teamboard 2 is aiming to have integration with some feasible ecosystem and to bring in users from there. Teamboard 2 also aims to work as a standalone product which would enable a larger audience.
