QMapShack.AppImage

Status of 2025-07-06

QMapShack version 1.18.0 is available. QMapShack.AppImages are still referring to QMapShack version 1.17.1. New QMapShack.AppImages will be build as soon there is progress in the development based on version 1.18.0.

Install QMapShack.AppImage

QMapShack.AppImages are provided for several Linux versions (Fedora, openSUSE, Ubuntu, ...). Detailed information about the supported versions can be found here and here. Download it from QMapShack.AppImages.

Build QMapShack.AppImage

To be on the safe side, proceed as follows:

  • Set up a virtual machine and install, so that you don't ruin your current operational environment.
  • Install Docker.
  • Pull a fork of QMapShack.AppImage environment from Github.
  • Experiment with an existing Dockerfile and repeatedly build and run with Docker.
