States
Each character has three State tracks, keeping track of how much pain and stress the character is suffering from at any given moment. As with Traits, each State corresponds to a suit of cards.
- Wounds (Spades): Unhurt -> Scratched -> Aching -> Wounded -> Down -> Out -> Dead
- Stress (Hearts): Calm -> Uneasy -> Worried -> Fearful -> Stressed Out -> Passed Out -> Dead
- Fatigue (Diamonds): Rested -> Winded -> Tired -> Fatigued -> Exhausted -> Passed Out -> Dead
