Obtaining

This block is generated in the Ancient Citadel. It can be found in any pathways or in the Ancient Laboratory.

This block is not obtainable in survival. When broken, it drops between 15 and 45 xp.

Usage

This block behave roughly like a mob spawner for Shadows. A miniature model of a shadow can be seen spinning inside it and it generates blue flame particles.

On a random tick, the blocks checks if there is no more than 6 shadowsin a radius of 10 blocks around itself. If not, it search for a random position to spawn a new one in a radius of 6 blocks.

The shadows spawned by the Soul Spawner are always in stasis.
