Task:

  • Create and customize a Dashboard in DHIS2.

Notes:

  • To add reports to your dashboard, you must have already created and saved pivot tables, graphs, and/or maps.

Instructions:

Step 1: Go to the 'Dashboard' app to create a new dashboard:

 

Step 2: To create a new Dashboard: Click the 'Add' button, enter your new dashboard name and the click 'Create':

Step 3: To add reports to your currently selected Dashboard: Begin typing in the search bar to bring up all saved pivot tables, graphs and maps, then click 'Add' to include that item in your dashboard. Clicking the report will take you to the visualizer. 

a. To resize a report on the Dashboard, click 'resize'. There are three size options.

b. To move a report to another location on the Dashboard, simply drag and drop the report.

Step 4: To share this dashboard: click 'Share'

 

 

a. You can share the dashboard with any user in your DHIS2 instance by changing the 'Public access (with login)' dropdown to 'Can view' or 'Can edit and view'.

b. You can share the dashboard with specific User Groups by typing their name(s), then clicking the '+' button.
