OrgUnits Move - LogicalOutcomes/DHIS2-FAQ GitHub Wiki

Task:

  • Move OrgUnits in DHIS2.

Notes:

  • Click Here to see a walkthrough video from the Online Curriculum that is related to this task.

  • DHIS2 will not remember where OrgUnits used to be and will always create reports as if OrgUnits have always been in their current position. Be careful of moving OrgUnits that already have attached data.

Instructions:

Step 1: Go to the 'Maintenance' app:

 

Step 2: Scroll down and select "Organisation unit'. Select 'Hierarchy operations' on the left column.

 

Step 3: Find the OrgUnit you want to Move. Search in the hierarchy on the left side of the page and click the OrgUnit you want to move.

 

Step 4: Find where you want to put this OrgUnit, select new parent OrgUnit on the right side of the page

 

Step 5: Click the large blue button at the bottom of the screen to confirm the move.
