Task:

• Enter routine data into DHIS2 from your web browser.

Notes:

• Routine data entry is used when entering data that is collected on a regular basis, such as weekly, monthly, every six months or annually.

• Click Here to see a walkthrough video from the Online Curriculum that is related to this task.

• The appropriate OrgUnit (where), Data Set and Period (when) must be selected in order to enter data to the correct Data Element (what).

Instructions:

Step 1: Go to the 'Data Entry' app:

 

Step 2: Select the appropriate Organization Unit from the left side of your browser window (click it and it will turn orange).

 

Step 3: Select the Data Set and period.

 

Step 4: You will now see the data entry form. Enter your data.

 

Step 5: When you have entered all your data, click 'Complete'.
