The World Map is just coordinate space, but from a differing relationship. It is a picture of all the nodes in the peer-2-peer network, color-coded with mood, but positioned in their standard reference position (based on their stored objects or message history?). This way, the "geography" remains consistent and people can learn the subtleties of the shifts that occur.

It can be zoomed into and rotated as the user wishes to focus on particular areas of the collective consciousness. Also, the field could be limited to various criteria, like "Restaurants". Giving a view of the nodes, colored by type of restaurant (italian, asian, etc.), with proximity to current location arranged in the view, and the size of the node determined by ranking or advertizing paid. Each edge in that view with have the detailed street-routes to arrive at the restaurant/node.
